Privacy policy

This policy describes how Iterations (“we”, “us”), the service at iterations.app, handles information when you use the product as an owner or as an invited client.

We collect the information needed to run the project portal:

• Account email and display name
• Project records: name, original scope, value, deadline, and status
• Client name and email when you invite someone to a project
• Scope changes: title, description, price impact, timeline impact, and status
• Approval records: the decision, who made it, and when
• Session cookies so you stay signed in after a magic link

We do not require a password. Sign-in uses a one-time link sent to your email.

We use this information to:

• Provide the shared portal and keep project totals up to date
• Send magic-link sign-in messages and the product emails (invite, a change waiting for review, a change approved or declined)
• Protect the service and debug failures

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Project members see the shared portal for that project. Owner-only insights stay hidden from the client.

We use infrastructure providers to host the app, store data, and send email. They process information on our instructions in order to run Iterations. We do not share project records with third parties for their own purposes.

We keep account and project data while you use the service. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove or anonymize personal data that is no longer needed to keep a project record intact for the other party, unless we must retain it for legal reasons.

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also object to or restrict certain processing, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To make a request, reply to any email Iterations has sent you, using the address on your account.

We use a session cookie after you sign in with a magic link. It is required for the product to know who you are. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of Iterations after a change means you accept the updated policy.
